Saned Integrated Facilities Management Achieves 45% Growth Over 2021

Sharjah, 21 Febrary, 2023: During 2022, Saned Integrated Facilities Management Company, owned by Sharjah Asset Management, achieved great success through a series of pioneering and distinguished projects, garnering a 45% increased growth rate compared to 2021. The company worked diligently to achieve its vision to promote economic growth in the Emirate of Sharjah and saw a substantial increase in facilities management services to various entities within the Emirate.

The company seeks to continue driving growth in the Emirate through innovations in integrated facilities management.

Provides Services to 950 Government and Private Buildings in the Emirate of Sharjah

Eng. Sultan Al Ketbi, CEO of Saned, said: “In 2022, Saned successfully increased its qualitative achievements that strengthened our position and presence on the map of local and international companies specialised in the integrated facilities management field. We now provide facilities and maintenance management services to a total of 950 buildings in the Emirate of Sharjah, both in the government and private domains. Services are designed, provided and curated by 30 specialised engineers, with the support and implementation of said services by more than 80 specialised and highly skilled technicians. Our operations are in accordance with the highest international standards in this field, such as 20 SFG and other international standards followed in facilities management, electricity, monitoring systems, firefighting and more.”

Installation of 7437 Safety Devices during 2022

Al Ketbi added: “To ensure and add to the physical safety of our buildings in line with our company goals, fire prevention strategies and integration of security systems are of our utmost priority. We installed 7,437 safety devices during 2022, in partnership and coordination with the Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority. These specialised devices directly connect fire systems in our facilities to the General Directorate of Civil Defense operations rooms as well as the Saned operations room, with the goal to reduce response time in cases of emergency fires.”

9316 Trainees at Salama Preventive Training Institute during 2022:

AlKetbi highlighted that during 2022, Saned provided training services to 9316 trainees on prevention and safety work for employers in the Emirate of Sharjah through the Salama Preventive Training Institute. The institute was opened in 2019 in accordance with Executive Council Resolution No. 21 of 2019 regarding training on prevention and safety work in the Emirate of Sharjah, where Saned was selected by the Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority to establish an advanced training system in line with best international practices to contribute to maintaining the safety of workers in the Emirate of Sharjah.

The Salama Preventive Training Institute aims to support the strategy of the Government of Sharjah in enhancing safety in various work environments through worker education. This includes instruction on raising awareness of risks that threaten safety, presenting best practices for working in a safe manner, methods of reporting and preventing risks, guidance on what to do during emergencies and how to use firefighting equipment. Detailed information on construction risks is provided to workers in contracting companies, including the risks of working at heights and enclosed spaces, and the safe use of equipment and materials routinely used in the workplace.

Wastewater Treatment Plant to Achieve Sustainability of Buildings

During the past year, Saned was eager to provide its customers with integrated expertise and technology to achieve total sustainable operations of its serviced buildings in line with international standards for green buildings. The Wastewater Treatment Plant, located in Souq Al Haraj, is among one of the key green initiative to support this goal, which processes upwards of 182,500,000 litres of wastewater sewage annually at an estimated cost of AED 1.8 million.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Al Ketbi further commented, “Within the framework of Saned’s social responsibility goals, we participated in numerous events and activities that enhance our community presence. The Saned team participated in the Clean Up UAE campaign to contribute to keeping the Emirate of Sharjah green and clean for our local communities. We also provided a series of workshops catered to employees in Sharjah Asset Management to build awareness of preventive measures in work fields by following the best international practices followed in public safety.”

In 2023, Saned seeks to continue focusing on and achieving more qualitative goals that support the company’s vision for the Emirate of Sharjah.
